4 Course Chapters Are The Curriculum For Waitstaff Professionalization

Each course chapter is about 1 hour and offers a different objective, teaching tools and techniques within each.  The program is structured to progressively build, including exams, to course certification.  We start by laying a historical foundation of service industry understanding, with which to build a truly great service model and practical approach upon.   The orientation portion of this curriculum is some of the magic of its effectiveness, and a key part that is almost always missed in general restaurant training.  It is crucial in elevating the entire staff from a place of knowledge, and understanding.   This is effectively the foundation of great service.

About the Course (est. 2008) Are you ready to take yourself, or your entire front-of-house service staff's skills to the next level?

In this course, restaurant staff such as waiters, bartenders, bussers, food runners, hosts, and management will discover valuable tools and techniques.  These skills will be honed and utilized to provide outstanding service.  From understanding the service industry's history to mastering guest psychology, you'll learn how to enhance your current guest dining experience, which will lead to maximizing sales by capturing potential sales, which are currently being missed.  We identify traits of an amateur, from breakage to poor verbiage and everything in between.  We then address each of the flawed traits and rectify them.   Then we dive into attention to detail.  Utilizing knowledge of menus and powerful techniques, including proper table maintenance, we learn to anticipate every guest's wants and needs.   Finally, we will cover dealing with disgruntled guests and the rebound, for effective guest satisfaction and retention.  The end result yields a food & beverage powerbroker.
